Mr. Hnatiuk’s practice focuses on employment litigation, representing employers against claims of harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, and disability-related claims. He represents clients in both state and federal court, and in administrative hearings, including matters before the Labor Commissioner. He provides instruction on compliance with the Fair Employment and Housing Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family Medical Leave Act/California Family Rights Act, and on litigation prevention in the discharge of employees.
Prior to joining ALBB, Mr. Hnatiuk had represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of legal fields, including matters of employment, contract, civil rights, torts, landlord/tenant disputes, family law, and judgment enforcement.
Outside of work, Mr. Hnatiuk happily devotes his time to his wife, Kathryn, and to acquainting their five children to activities and entertainment that he enjoyed as a kid.
