Mr. Hayes represents clients in all aspects of professional liability and general civil litigation. His professional liability practice includes the defense of professionals in the fields of accounting, architecture, engineering, and real estate. Mr. Hayes’ general civil litigation practice focuses on the defense of property owners, managers, and business owners in a variety of claims involving catastrophic injuries or fatalities.
Mr. Hayes has defended business owners and individuals in complex tort cases involving claims of negligence and wrongful death arising from construction site accidents, residential fires, slip and falls, and serious motor vehicle accidents.
During law school, Mr. Hayes clerked for several firms specializing in personal injury, employment law, and estate planning. Mr. Hayes also completed an internship with the San Diego District Attorney’s Office, Elder Abuse Prosecution Unit.
Outside of his law practice practice, Mr. Hayes enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog, exploring San Diego’s numerous outdoor activities including surfing, snowboarding, and fishing.
