Overview

Mr. Williams practices in the areas of education law, employment law, labor relations, and litigation. His education practice includes defending academic institutions in a wide range of legal claims and counseling academic institutions on complying with state and federal laws. Mr. Williams also investigates allegations of employee and student misconduct. Mr. Williams is a frequent presenter at regional and national education law seminars.

Mr. Williams’ employment practice includes defending employers in a variety of claims including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour claims. Mr. Williams also counsels on labor relations, assists in collective bargaining, and conducts workplace investigations.

Prior to joining ALBB, Mr. Williams worked for a prominent education law firm in Spokane. During law school, Mr. Williams was a judicial extern for Honorable George Fearing in the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division III.

Outside of law, Mr. Williams and his wife travel, ride motorcycles and snowmobiles, explore Spokane trails, and chase their son and daughter around the house.
