As Special Counsel for Andrews Lagasse Branch + Bell LLP, Ms. Battilega Luetzow is committed to helping employers create and maintain compliant, productive and cohesive workplaces. She advises employers on an array of employment-related matters including personnel policies and practices, disciplinary matters, reasonable accommodations, leaves of absence, wage and hour compliance, workplace investigations, workplace training, conflict management in the workplace, internal mediations and management coaching. Ms. Battilega Luetzow drafts employee handbooks, employer checklists and guidelines, employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, severance agreements and various other employment-related agreements. She also conducts workplace audits, workplace investigations and provides training in a number of areas, including: conflict management, harassment prevention; managing ill and injured Workers; and “Employment Law 101” for managers.
Prior to joining Andrews Lagasse Branch + Bell LLP, Ms. Battilega Luetzow gained a wealth of experience by practicing employment law in a variety of settings: in house employment counsel, international law firms, and a boutique consulting firm.
Ms. Battilega Luetzow has a Mediation Credential from the National Conflict Resolution Center, which she utilizes when conducting internal mediations for clients.
Outside of her law practice, Ms. Battilega Luetzow enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, and practicing yoga. She is a retired triathlete and marathon runner. Additionally, Ms. Battilega Luetzow serves as a volunteer for La Jolla Country Day School and participates in many different community service activities with her sons.
