Diversity Fellowship Program Andrews • Lagasse • Branch & Bell LLP is a proud participant in the 2010 San Diego Diversity Fellowship Program. The program, a joint endeavor of the San Diego County Bar Association and the Association of Corporate Counsel, is designed to increase the number of diverse attorneys practicing in San Diego County by providing diverse law students with an opportunity to develop their skills and make professional contacts while working in law firms and corporate legal departments. Andrews • Lagasse • Branch & Bell is one of only ten law firms and/or corporate legal departments to offer paid fellowship opportunities through this program.
Earl B. Gillman Bar AssociationOn November 14, 2009, Andrews • Lagasse • Branch & Bell LLP sponsored a table at the Earl B. Gillman Bar Association’s (“EGBA”) 33rd Annual Awards & Scholarship Dinner. Each year EGBA hosts an annual scholarship and awards dinner to honor the academic achievements of local law students, as well as to honor individual attorneys, judges, community leaders, law firms and organizations that have enhanced the quality of life for the greater San Diego community. CPUC - Reception of Diverse Lawyers & Minority Owned Law Firms On January 15, 2009, Andrews • Lagasse • Branch & Bell LLP co-hosted the "California Public Utilities Commission Reception of Diverse Lawyers and Minority Owned Law Firms." The Reception took place at The University Club in San Diego and provided an opportunity for members of the CPUC and state regulated utilities to meet with diverse lawyers and discuss the promotion of diversity in the legal profession.
