 Shauna L. DurrantShauna Durrant is an associate at Andrews · Lagasse · Branch & Bell LLP. Her practice focuses on employment litigation, which includes defending corporations and organizations in a variety of legal claims including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour matters, and employee classification issues. Ms. Durrant also counsels employers on issues of hiring, promotion, discipline, termination, leaves of absence laws, overtime compensation and development and implementation of affirmative action and best practices manuals. Prior to joining Andrews · Lagasse · Branch & Bell LLP, Ms. Durrant was an associate in the employment litigation group at Gordon & Rees LLP. Ms. Durrant received her J.D. in 2003 from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she was a member of the USD National Mock Trial Team and Student Editor for the Journal of Contemporary Legal Issues. Ms. Durrant also served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Thomas J. Whelan, U.S. District Court Judge for the Southern District of California. In 1999, Ms. Durrant earned a B.A. in political science and print journalism from the University of Southern California where she graduated cum laude. Ms. Durrant is admitted to the State Bar of California, the United States District Court for the Southern District and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She is also a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
