 Michael J. O'Connor, Jr.Mike O'Connor is senior counsel with Andrews · Lagasse · Branch & Bell LLP and has been with the firm since its inception. Mr. O'Connor's experience includes handling matters on behalf of institutional and individual clients throughout California and Nevada with regard to a variety of litigation and transactional matters. Mr. O'Connor regularly represents employers, real estate professionals, and architects, engineers and design professionals, with regard to an array of employment, real estate, construction and design-related matters. He also represents athletes, teams and entertainers with regard to a variety of sports and entertainment issues, including events, appearances, sponsorships and endorsements. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. O'Connor was an associate at one of California's largest law firms and prior to that served as General Counsel to a privately held financial products and services company. In additional to transactional and litigation matters, Mr. O'Connor assists his clients with a variety of regulatory matters, including complying with local and national regulatory issues, negotiating and accomplishing local, national and international business transactions, as well as coordinating the legal aspects of clients' e-commerce, marketing and customer service programs. Mr. O'Connor earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law, earning honors in Negotiations, Contemporary Issues: Public Policy and Mexican Law. He represented USD at the Pepperdine National Entertainment Law Moot Court Competition, served as Vice President of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society, and was editor of the USD International Law Journal. Mr. O'Connor received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, and is an avid Husky fan and supporter. Mr. O'Connor is admitted to practice law in the state and federal district courts of both California and Nevada. He is a member of the ABA Forum Committee on the Sports and Entertainment Industries and the Sports Lawyers Association.
