Gregory B. Wilbur

Gregory B. Wilbur is an associate with Andrews Lagasse Branch & Bell LLP. Mr. Wilbur’s practice is focused on labor and employment law, and he represents employers in all phases of litigation in state and federal courts and administrative agencies. Mr. Wilbur handles discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims, as well as class, collective, and representative wage and hour actions, including those under the California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). Mr. Wilbur also provides advice and counsel to employers regarding workplace policies, disability accommodations, family and medical leave, discipline, and termination.

Prior to joining Andrews Lagasse Branch & Bell LLP, Mr. Wilbur practiced at a boutique employment law firm in Santa Barbara, where he represented both employees and employers and provided advice and counsel to small businesses and household employers. While in Santa Barbara, Mr. Wilbur was a member of the William L. Gordon Inn of Court, the University Club of Santa Barbara, and the Rotary Club of Santa Barbara, and was a supporter of the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra.

Mr. Wilbur received his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2013. During law school, Mr. Wilbur served as a legal research and writing teaching assistant for NYU’s international LL.M. students. After taking the California Bar Exam, Mr. Wilbur served as a Law Clerk at the National Veterans Legal Services Program in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Wilbur received his bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, where he majored in International Politics with a concentration in Security. After graduating from Georgetown, Mr. Wilbur took an commission in the United States Marine Corps, including overseas service as an embedded advisor to the Iraqi Police in Anbar Province, for which he was awarded the Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal. Mr. Wilbur left active duty as a First Lieutenant and was promoted to Captain in the reserves.

Mr. Wilbur is admitted to the State Bar of California and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He is also a member of the California State Bar and Los Angeles County Bar Association Labor & Employment sections. He sits on the Board of Directors of the National Veterans Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles that provides services to vulnerable portions of the veteran community.
